RG6 Coaxial Cable, Dual Shielded Riser CMR, 18 AWG BC, 100% Bonded AL Foil + 60% AL Braid, Black or White, 1,000ft
Description
RG6 Dual Shield Riser CMR Coax Cable for Digital HDTV, CATV and Digital Satellite
RG6 coaxial cable is widely used for satellite, digital CATV, and HDTV television networking due to its superior shielding and signal retention capabilities. It surpasses RG59 coaxial cable in both jacketing density and conductor thickness, enabling double the data transfer speed. To further enhance signal retention and ensure crystal-clear digital pictures, our RG6 coaxial cable comes in dual shield and quad shield options. The RG6 Coaxial Cable is designed with a 75-ohm impedance and undergoes sweep testing at 3GHz
This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.
Product Quality
Our high-quality RG6 Coaxial Cable consists of an 18 AWG solid Bare Copper (BC) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 dual-shielded Riser CMR coaxial cable comes with bonded aluminum foil and 60% aluminum braided shield. This is covered with a flame-rated PVC jacket. Our cables are UL-listed and RoHS Compliant. This high-grade shielded RG6 coaxial cable is well-suited for vertical CATV installations.
Where to use Coaxial Cable
A broad range of applications exist for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with home entertainment equipment such as Cable Television (CATV), Digital HDTV, Audio / Video, and Digital Satellite. It is also used with security cameras and GPS Systems.
