Our Cat 6 Ethernet cable is configured for installation in air ducts and plenums without conduit necessary. It is UL listed as plenum CMP cable, as well as ETL verified. The Cat6 Plenum Cable, 1000’ is ideal for high speed voice and data networking applications.

It is designed for use in indoor installations, and has a flame retardant jacket certified for safe indoor use. This cat 6 cable has 23 AWG diameter solid bare copper conductors arranged in unshielded twisted pairs. It has excellent attenuation and crosstalk characteristics, as well as a ripcord under the jacketing making it easy to install.

When used for 10/100/1000BASE-T applications Cat 6 cable can run a maximum distance of 100 meters, or 328 feet. For 10GBASE-T, Cat 6 can run 55 meters, or 180 feet, but it must be tested for the adverse effects of alien crosstalk from the environment. Cat 6 cable has the benefit of better crosstalk characteristics, and can be applied at 100 meter runs without electronic testing.
