RJ45 Modular Plugs

The registered jack (RJ45) modular plug is a standardized interface for data networking. The 8 position, 8 contact (8P8C) is the RJ45 configuration, and the most common type of plug for Ethernet networking. Male modular connectors are called plugs, while female connectors are jacks.
