If you need to protect your fiber cable splices, Primus Cable offers two sizes of protective sleeves: 40mm and 60mm. These sleeves are made of ethylene vinyl acetate with heat activated memory.
This causes them to shrink under heat, ensuring extra defense against foreign material (FM) like dirt and dust particles. They’re essential for upgrades and new network installations, especially in rugged environmental settings. Tough outside, our sleeves prevent abrasion of delicate glass fibers inside. These fiber optic cable accessories make field splicing quick, convenient and efficient.
Designed specifically to meet the special requirements of the telecommunications industry, our fiber wall entry plugs are another important product within our fiber optic accessories store. The bushing provides unequaled holding power in less-than-perfect holes through many kinds of construction materials, including masonry walls. Like our protective splicing sleeves, they’re perfect for industrial installations, retrofits and upgrades. Made for interior and exterior use, they have has multiple reverse barbs which flex to fill the hole and secure themselves to prevent easy pull-out after insertion.
