Collection: Copperhead Access Points

Copperhead access points provide secure, direct connection to tracer wire systems for underground utility locating. Available in at-grade and above-grade configurations with up to five terminals, these termination and grounding stations protect tracer wire, simplify locate transmitter hookup, and allow locators to isolate sections of the tracer wire system by engaging or disengaging ground.

SnakePit At-Grade Access Points

The SnakePit Access Point is an at-grade tracer wire termination and grounding station that sits flush with the ground surface. Available in five configurations for different traffic environments: Lite Duty for yards and ditches, Lite Duty Adjustable with anti-sink design for new construction, Lite Duty XL Adjustable for shifting soil conditions, Concrete/Driveway with a 2" cast iron collar, and Roadway with a 5" cast iron collar for heavy traffic. All SnakePit models feature APWA color-coded lids with molded utility markings, encapsulated magnets for ferrous metal detection, dielectric corrosion gel, and locking covers to prevent tampering. Two-terminal switchable lids allow locators to turn ground off and on from the top of the lid without opening the access point.

Cobra Above-Grade Access Points

The Cobra Access Point provides above-ground access to tracer wire systems with up to three terminals. Made from maintenance-free polypropylene with brass hardware for maximum conductivity, the Cobra mounts to fire hydrants with the optional hydrant flange, to posts with the mounting stake, or to any surface with 1" PVC conduit. Thumb nuts eliminate the need for wrenches during locate operations. APWA color-coded housings provide clear utility identification and protect tracer wire from weed whips and UV exposure.
