12-Strand MTP Patch Cables

12-strand MTP/MPO cables are the standard for 40G QSFP transceivers using 8 active fibers and for 100G QSFP28 using parallel optics. Available in single mode OS2 with APC polish for extended reach or multimode OM3 and OM4 with UPC polish for data center interconnects. Available in A/B/C Polarity.

24-Strand MTP Patch Cables

24-strand MTP/MPO cables double the density of 12-strand, supporting 100G QSFP28 with 20 active fibers and next-generation 400G architectures. Available in OS2 single mode with APC polish and OM3/OM4 multimode with UPC polish.

Applications

MTP/MPO trunk cables connect MTP cassettes in structured cabling environments, link QSFP transceivers directly for switch-to-switch connections, and serve as aggregation backbones in spine-leaf network topologies. Breakout applications can fan a single MTP connector out to 6 or 12 duplex LC connections, bridging high-density trunks with standard equipment ports.
