ViperMag Locating System

The ViperMag Pipe and Cable Locator combines active locating frequencies (512 Hz, 8.19 kHz, 83 kHz), passive power detection (60 Hz), and a ferrous metal detector in a single device — eliminating the need for separate equipment in the field. Features include push-button depth estimation, conductive and inductive locating modes, and a rugged ABS and carbon fiber construction. Compatible induction clamps are available for secure signal induction onto target lines.

SnakePit Access Points

The SnakePit Access Point is an at-grade tracer wire termination and grounding station that provides a direct connection point for utility locate transmitters. Available in five configurations: Lite Duty for yards and ditches, Lite Duty Adjustable with anti-sink design for new construction, Lite Duty XL Adjustable for shifting soil conditions, Concrete/Driveway with a 2" cast iron collar, and Roadway with a 5" cast iron collar for heavy traffic areas. All SnakePit models feature APWA color-coded lids with molded utility markings, encapsulated magnets for easy detection, dielectric corrosion gel, and locking covers to prevent tampering.

SnakeBite Connectors & Ground Rods

Copperhead SnakeBite connectors provide waterproof, direct burial-rated splices for tracer wire systems with tool-free installation and dielectric gel sealing. Ground rods complete the locating circuit with a 1.5-lb magnesium rod, 20' CCS lead wire with 30 mil HDPE insulation, and an included twist-on connector for splicing to tracer wire dead ends.
