A popular tool we supply is the 6" BTP Coax and Data Cable Cutter. This item is manufactured from hardened, corrosion resistant vanadium steel. This coaxial cable cutter has precision ground dual elliptical cutting blades for low effort cutting without deforming cable dielectric. This coaxial cable cutter cuts both solid and stranded unshielded and shielded twisted pair cable and coax.

There are two general types of cable strippers: manual and automatic. A manual style version consists of opposing blades like scissors. An automatic version grips the wire from one side while cutting or stripping the other side.

The BR-1 Cable Multi-Stripper is lightweight, compact, and versatile. This cable cutter and stripper tool reduces installation time and tooling costs for installers and technicians. It strips coax, CAT 3/5/5E/6/6A, shielded, plenum, PVC, telephone, and audio cables. It comes equipped with a cable cutter for both cable and wire. The braid comb folds back the braid over the cable jacket.

When dealing with fiber optic cable, precision is necessary to prevent damaging the delicate fibers.
