ST fiber connectors use a bayonet-style twist-lock coupling mechanism that provides vibration-resistant mating for industrial and legacy network applications. The 2.5mm ferrule with spring-loaded design ensures consistent physical contact, while the metal bayonet body offers durability beyond standard plastic connectors.

Field-Installable ST Connectors

Our field-installable ST connectors include Corning UniCam mechanical splice connectors with ceramic ferrules and factory-polished end faces. Tool-free installation supports 900µm, 2mm, and 3mm cable sizes. Available in single mode OS2 with UPC polish and multimode OM1, OM3, and OM4 with PC polish.

Fusion Splice-On ST Connectors

Corning FuseLite splice-on ST connectors provide fusion splice connectivity with splice protection built into the connector body. The factory-polished end face and composite ferrule deliver consistent optical performance. Available in single mode OS2 with UPC polish and multimode OM2, OM3, and OM4 with PC polish.
