ViperMag™ Pipe and Cable Locator
The ViperMag™ Pipe and Cable Locator combines active locating frequencies with a ferrous metal detector in one device. This streamlines the locating process by eliminating the need for an operator to carry two devices in the field. ViperMag™ is the perfect tool for municipalities and utility locators.
ViperMag Pipe and Cable Locator includes Receiver, Transmitter, Direct Connect Cables, Ground Rod, Batteries, Soft Side Case, and User Guide. A combination utility locator and ferrous metal detector designed to locate buried pipes and cables and to detect buried ferrous metal objects such as valve box covers and buried tanks. The one-watt transmitter applies a locate frequency by direct connection or induction. Optional induction clamps can be used to clamp around a line and induce the locate signal onto it.
