Our heavy duty double drywall vapor barrier box supports mounting ceiling fans or fixtures and comes with an adjustable steel bracket to support installations that require heavy-duty support. This product is a vapor barrier product which means it adds extra insulation to installations by preventing air infiltration to installation holes when mounted securely the gasket on this product seals of any unwanted cracks or slots that air may leak through into the installation room. The vapor barrier will help maintain room temperature and not leak in cool or warm air from outside sources.
Installation of this product is fast and when complete creates a secure hold for new construction. This product will mount to wood joists with captive installation screws, and it ships ready to install.
