Description

RG6 Coax Cable, 95% BC Wire Braid, 18 AWG BC, for CCTV Transmission and Audio/Video Applications

Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is extensively employed in satellite, digital CATV, and HDTV television network installations, requiring superior shielding for optimal signal preservation. Notably characterized by a denser jacket and thicker conductor compared to RG59, RG6 enables data transfer at double the speed. We provide both dual shield and quad shield RG6 cables to maximize signal retention for sharper, clearer digital images. Designed with a 75-ohm impedance, our RG6 Coaxial Cable undergoes 3GHz sweep testing to ensure performance reliability.

This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.

Applications

Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radiofrequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connect radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 Coax cable an ideal solution for tv cable wire or coax cable for internet usage.

Product Quality

Our high-quality RG6 CCTV Coaxial Cable consists of an 18 AWG solid Bare Copper (BC) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 coaxial cable comes with a 95% solid bare copper wire braided shield. This is covered with a flame-rated PVC jacket (CM). Our cables are UL listed and RoHS Compliant.

Where to use Coaxial Cable

A broad range of applications exists for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with entertainment equipment such as Cable Television (CATV), Digital HDTV, Audio / Video, and Digital Satellite receivers in commercial settings such as schools and hospitals. It is also used with security cameras and GPS Systems. Since this RG6 Coaxial Cable has a solid copper conductor it is the perfect cable choice for any CCTV transmission or surveillance system and helps eliminate signal loss.
