The company was founded in 1955 as part of Taihan Group, one of the largest cable manufacturers in Asia. Taihan has developed and commercialized fiber optic cables in 1977, optical glass via VAD method in 1984, and optical grounding wire (OPGW) in 1987. We were spun off from Taihan Group in 2012 to merge with OptoMagic, which was a subsidiary of Taihan Group and the powerhouse of optical glass technology and manufacturing.
