4 in. Octagon Fan & Fixture Support Box, 2-1/8 in. Deep, Old Work Bar Hanger
2-1/8 in deep, 4 in octagon boxes with old work fan bar hangers, and (4) 1/2 in side knockouts are used to install ceiling fans, chandeliers, and other similar hanging fixtures. The old work hangers twist out and penetrate ceiling joists for a secure installation of ceiling fans and chandeliers in existing hollow ceilings. Primus Cables' octagon boxes are made with a versatile combination head screw that can securely fasten fixtures or devices to electrical junction boxes using a slotted, Phillips, or Robertson head screwdriver. They also come with labor saving brackets and mounting tabs that align with most lighting fixtures.
