Universal Male F-Type RG11 Coax Cable Connector Plenum, ProSNS TM 7/16in Gray Ring - 25pc Bag
Former Part Number: CN2-4943-11
Pro Snap-N-Seal® F-Type RG11 Coax Cable Connector for CCTV Applications
The ProSNS™ Universal RG11 F Connector features the superior return loss standards characteristics of Belden coaxial connectors. The negative return loss measurements are the result of better impedance stability within the signal path. This causes lower reflected signal loss in the path.
These F-Type connectors provide simple, fast and reliable terminations. It is the perfect solution for CATV, Security, Home Theater and Residential Structured wiring installations and offers professional installers an option for long RG11 Plenum Coaxial Cable runs. The design of this compression RG11 connector utilizes an air dielectric within the transition area of the connector, which contributes to an improved return loss. Features include a universal 7/16" nut, and a 30% increase in thread count to help create a more secure, weather-tight termination and increased pull-out strength in a simplified, one-piece installation design. Grab one now and simplify your coaxial cable installation.
Where to use Coaxial Cable
A broad range of applications exist for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with home entertainment equipment such as Cable Television (CATV), Digital HDTV, Audio / Video, and Digital Satellite. It is also used with security cameras, and GPS Systems.
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals.

Use our TL5-3485 or an industry standard 1/4 x 1/4 cable prep tool. Assure that the braid is folded back onto the jacket as shown in Figure 1.
Push the center conductor into the gold center pin and install the connector onto the cable until you see the plastic pin protrude from the nut. Remove the plastic pin and verify that the center pin protrudes slightly past the end of the nut. you will not see the cable dielectric on the inside of the nut.
Position the connector into the tool as shown below:
Activate the tool and ensure there is no gap after termination:
