The Copperhead Mainline-to-Service Connector (Standard) delivers a fast, secure, and waterproof 3-way connection between mainline and service lateral tracer wires—without cutting or stripping the mainline. Its rugged housing locks down in three places and is pre-filled with dielectric silicone sealant for reliable corrosion protection. Designed for direct burial, each connector allows straightforward installation in utility locating projects.

Installation Steps
- Make a small slit in the mainline jacket—do not remove insulation or cut conductor
- Strip the ends of both mainline and service wires
- Place the mainline tracer wire into open throat A; tighten the set screw until contact is made, then give 1/4 turn more
- Place service tracer wire into hole B; tighten the set screw until contact is made, then give 1/4 turn more
- Remove the sealant cover and discard it
- Close housing and align conductors until the lid latches shut
- Wipe excess sealant from around wires; do not reuse the connector
