The Push Button or Plunger actuated series was developed in response to installer request for a direct replacement of an existing and problematic mechanical type contact. The sealed contacts of the reed switch ensure a long service life.
Plunger actuated reed switches have become so popular on new installations that many variations are now being produced. This push button is a press fit design and eliminates the screw mounted flange.
Note: Open Loop or "normal open" means the switch is open when magnet is in close proximity.
