The CAT6 Surface Mount Box is useful for connecting to your Ethernet network when there is not an in-wall RJ45 jack is available. Just open the CAT6 Surface Mount Box, punch down the CAT6 cable, then plug in the patch cable. Easy. A Closer Look | Products We Recommend
Our CAT6 Surface Mount Box, 1 & 2 Ports Pre-wired, Universal Box Case – White comes pre-wired with an unshielded CAT6 keystone jack inside. This single port design has mounting screws and double sided tape necessary for a quick and simple installation. This CAT6 Surface Mount Box does require a 110 punch down tool to terminate. It ensures an easy, secure connection for different network components including computers, printers, and routers.
The CAT6 Junction Box – White is an additional option Primus Cable supplies. This unit is commonly used to splice two CAT6 Ethernet cables together without the need of connectors or couplers. It provides a quick, cost effective solution for expanding your network.
When upgrading your network, note that these Wall Mount Boxes may require the punch down tool to install. You will want the Punch Down Tool, Adjustable Impact Punch Down Tool w/Blade, 66/110 to install unloaded Surface Mount Boxes, as these require a keystone jack to be installed within them.
