Disconnect cable or armored cable extensions are generally used to transfer power across gates and overhead doors where a standard switch will not work. Disconnect cables are environmentally sealed to withstand temperature and moisture. These can be used for a variety of industrial and overhead contacts.

Just run the armored cable extension to secure the item(s) and wire to a zone on a security panel. Once the security system is armed, any disconnect in the cable either by pulling apart or cutting will be detected by the alarm system.
