Riser jacketed cables are one of the more commonly used indoor cables, and offer less flame resistance than a plenum cable. Cables in riser spaces stretch between floors, so they contain a strengthening filament with high tensile strength to support the cable as it hangs. While these jackets do have some flame resistance, they do not prevent the spread of toxins the way that plenum cables do and should not be used in spaces meant for air ventilation. We offer riser jackets for CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6A, CAT7 and CAT8.
