Description

RG6 Outdoor Dual Shield Direct Burial Coaxial Cable, 18 AWG CCS, CM, 60% AL Wire Braid, AL Foil Shield

Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is commonly employed in the installation of satellite, digital CATV, and HDTV television networks due to its elevated shielding capabilities, essential for optimal signal retention. Distinguished by a denser jacket and a thicker conductor compared to RG59, the RG6 coaxial cable facilitates data transfer at twice the speed. We offer both RG6 dual shield and quad shield cables to ensure maximum signal retention, resulting in sharper and clearer digital images. The RG6 Coaxial Cable is designed with a 75-ohm impedance and undergoes sweep testing at 3GHz.

This cable is compatible with the CN2-4939-6 Snap N Seal RG6 Connector.

Applications

Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.

Product Quality

Our high-quality RG6 CATV Dual Shield Direct Burial Coaxial Cable consists of an 18 AWG solid Copper Clad Steel (CCS) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 coaxial cable comes with a 60% aluminum wire braided shield. This is covered with a flame-rated PE jacket (CM).

Where to use Dual Shielded DB Coaxial Cable

Our RG6 Direct Burial Coaxial Cable is made for outdoor Cable Television (CATV), audio/video networking applications, digital HDTV applications, CATV, outdoor and direct burial TV antennas, and digital satellite installations. The cable's jacket is designated CL2 for outdoor coaxial cable used for networking projects like outdoor CCTV systems require cable with adequate jacketing and insulation to handle moisture and sun exposure. The RG6 Coaxial Cable tops out at 75 ohms and does not keep a high Gigahertz.
