Snag proof RJ45 strain relief is an innovative solution specifically designed to be crimped with EZ-RJ45® plugs. Two patent-pending versions are offered for both the CAT5e RJ45 connectors. This item is made in the USA and RoHS compliant. Perfect for use in your CAT5e Ethernet data networking installations.
The snag-proof RJ45 strain relief of the plug is locked in place by the primary strain relief, so it will not pull off, creating one integral assembly. Once crimped, this design allows the plug's primary strain relief to relax slightly, preventing the cable pairs from being over-compressed, allowing the unit to achieve peak performance. The tab on the RJ45 strain relief is designed to extend over the connector's locking tab, making it snag-proof when administering patch cords.
