This PE-89 cable has six pairs of solid annealed copper conductors measuring 19, 22, and 24 gauge. The entire core assembly is filled with ETPR compound, and the PE-89 cable has non-hygroscopic dielectric tape applied longitudinally.

This PE-89 cable also has corrugated copolymer coated aluminum tape shielding and a black polyethylene jacket. It is sold in 5,000 foot lengths on a wooden spool.
