Description

RG6 Quad Shield Riser CMR Coax Cable for Digital HDTV and CATV

RG6 coaxial cable excels in satellite and HDTV networking, with superior shielding for optimal signal retention. Its denser jacket and thicker conductor enable double the data transfer speed compared to RG59. Choose from RG6 dual shield or quad shield options for impeccable digital picture quality, with a maximum impedance of 75 ohms and 3GHz sweep testing.

This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.

Applications

Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial cable also provides protection for the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.

Product Quality

Our premium RG6 Coaxial Cable features an 18 AWG solid Copper-Clad-Steel inner conductor, ensuring efficient signal transmission. Encasing this conductor is a dielectric polyethylene insulation, complemented by 60% + 40% aluminum braided shielding. This robust construction is further protected by a flame-rated PVC jacket. Rest assured, our cables are UL-listed and compliant with RoHS regulations.

Where to use Coaxial Cable

A broad range of applications exist for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with home entertainment equipment such as Cable Television (CATV), Digital HDTV, Audio / Video, and Digital Satellite. It is also used with security cameras, and GPS Systems.
