Unshielded Security Cables do not have copper braid or aluminum foil shielding. It is intended for usage in applications where EMI is not a concern. Shielding is necessary when running wire close to high voltage cabling or close to sensitive electronics. Unshielded security cable is available in both riser and plenum jacketed variants.
