Description
RG6 Quad Shield Riser CMR Coax Cable for Digital HDTV and CATV
Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is commonly used for wiring satellite and HDTV television networking since it requires higher level of shielding for signal retention. The RG6 coax cable has a denser jacketing and thicker conductor then RG59, so it can transfer data at double the speed. We supply RG6 dual shield and quad shield cable to maximize signal retention for even sharper, clearer digital pictures. The RG6 Coaxial Cable tops out at 75 Ohms and sweep tested at 3GHz.
This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.
Product Quality
Our high quality RG6 Coaxial Cable consists of a 18 AWG solid Copper Clad Steel inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is surrounded with a dielectric polyethylene insulation and 60% + 40% aluminum braided shielding. This is covered with a flame rated PVC jacket. Our cables are UL listed and RoHS Compliant.
Where to use Coaxial Cable
A broad range of applications exist for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with home entertainment equipment such as Cable Television (CATV), Digital HDTV, Audio / Video, and Digital Satellite. It is also used with security cameras, and GPS Systems.
