Description

RG6 Siamese Coaxial Cable for Indoor CCTV Networking

Our RG6 Siamese Coaxial Cable is commonly used for wiring satellite, digital CCTV and HDTV television networking since it requires higher level of shielding for signal retention. The RG6 coax cable has a denser jacketing and thicker conductor then RG59, so it can transfer data at double the speed. We supply RG6 dual shield and quad shield cable to maximize signal retention for even sharper, clearer digital pictures. The RG6 Coaxial Cable tops out at 75 Ohms and sweep tested at 3GHz.

This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.

Applications

Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.

Product Quality

Our high quality RG6 CCTV Siamese Coaxial Cable with 18/2 stranded BC power wires consists of an 18 AWG solid Bare Copper (BC) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in a dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 coaxial cable comes with 90% Bare Copper Braid Shield. This is covered with a flame rated PE jacket (CM).

Where to use Siamese Coaxial Cable

A broad range of applications exist for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with entertainment equipment such as TV, VCR, DVR, satellite receivers. It is also used with security cameras, and GPS Systems. Since this RG6 Siamese Coaxial Cable has a solid copper conductor and two stranded bare copper power wires, it is the perfect cable choice for any CCTV transmission or surveillance system to run power and data in a single pass. This RG6 Siamese Coaxial Cable is available in black jacket. The 500' is supplied on a reel in box or on a spool. The 1000' is supplied on a wooden spool.
