Switch Accessories

The Switch Accessories that we offer are PoE (Power over Ethernet) Injectors and Splitters made by TP-Link; Injectors and Splitters are intended to facilitate your network through supplying power and/or data to both PoE devices and non-PoE devices. The PoE Injectors and Splitters that we carry are intended to seamlessly link routers, switches, and other networking products through the use of ethernet cable. The benefit? These products ease the access and application of networking components that might be required to reach remote areas where there is either a lack of power supply and/or need of extending the range in which data and power is required; therefore, these products are ideal both at home and in the office.

Our Injectors and Splitters are designed for low-power applications and feature plug-and-play functionalities. Splitters and Injectors are typically able to maintain ample power and clear transmission through a single 100m ethernet cable. Read on further to decide between the Switch Accessories that could best fit your network.

What is a PoE Injector?

A PoE Injector, such as the PoE Injector, 2 Port, Gigabit, is able to feed into an outlet and create the distribution of data and power through two separate channels; for instance, data can be transferred to the Injector from a remote non-PoE switch. The power sustained from the outlet and the data transferred from the switch is then dispersed through a separate channel and to another source, such as a Splitter, where it will then connect to a “PoE-ready device,” such as a surveillance camera or a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone.

What is a PoE Splitter?

A PoE Splitter, like the PoE Splitter, 1 Port, Gigabit, obtains power and data from a source, such as an Injector, which feeds the information through a single ethernet cable. The power is allocated through two outputs, one that carries power and one that transfers data to the desired source, again, exemplified through a surveillance camera or VoIP phone.
